City Series
In the winter of 2011, having settled into my life in New York, I began to think about the differences between visiting a city and living there. There’s something about finding an apartment, getting a job, locating a good grocery store, and navigating the four seasons that provide a sense of a place that travel cannot. With that in mind, I decided to ask a group of my friends to tell me what life was like where they lived, be it in Shanghai or Atlanta or Melbourne. Each of their answers surprised me and provided insight I couldn’t have gained from visiting. The following is a list of these interviews. Stay tuned for more to come!
