		<description>I like the coloring idea a lot! I&#039;m definitely going to give it a shot.
When I was studying intermediate/2nd year stuff, I really liked the textbook &quot;New Practical Chinese Reader&quot; because the readings include tone markings above the characters. It&#039;s not the only thing I was reading at the time, but I do think it helped with internalizing character&#039;s tones. 
Now that I don&#039;t use it anymore, I definitely find myself skimming over the tonal pronunciation of characters when reading.
On the one hand, I want to continue internalizing, but I wouldn&#039;t want everything covered in tone markers anymore.
Using colors seems like a really creative compromise.</description>
